Station Manager (P&D)

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of station operations, including inbound and outbound deliveries, package handling, and route optimization.

  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of last-mile delivery operations.

  • Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and meet service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Monitor package flow and resolve operational bottlenecks to ensure smooth delivery operations.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, Manage, train, and motivate a team of supervisors, drivers, and operational staff.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to improve individual and team productivity.

  • Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture, ensuring high employee engagement.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing delivery issues promptly and resolving escalations effectively.

  • Collaborate with customer service teams to improve delivery accuracy and responsiveness.

Safety and Compliance

  • Enforce company policies and ensure compliance with safety standards, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and other legal requirements.

  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for employees.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure station environment.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track key performance metrics (KPIs) related to delivery efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and implement improvement strategies.

  • Prepare and present regular operational reports to senior leadership.

Resource Management

  • Manage station budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.

  • Oversee fleet management, including maintenance and compliance of delivery vehicles.

  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to handle delivery volumes during peak periods.

  • Fedex Ground or Linehaul experience is preferred.
